Azhar Mehmood started singing at an early age in his hometown of Karachi, Pakistan.

 

He received training from the top Artists in this field, “Sohail Rana” known Pakistani Music Composer, “Pandit Ram Lal Sharma” known Guru of Classical Indian Music & “Mumtaz Meghani” famous rhythmist & teacher.

 

Since 1978 Azhar has performed his music all over the world, India, Pakistan, Middle East and all over the United States & Europe.

Azhar has performed for several Television Series & Motion Pictures.

 

Personal Information:

Azhar Mehmood graduated from Karachi University in 1985 with a Masters in History.

Currently he performs mostly within the United States and resides in Seattle, WA with his wife and children.
